I just posted Chapters 56-57-58-and mini book...Chapter 59
You'll find them in the usual spot, under blog, under Sneak Peeks It's easy to get distracted and lose focus. I've had a couple of chapters ready for several days, but stuff kept happening, and stuff didn't get done. These are all important to the story, but Chapter 59 is not the norm. I could have split it into multiple, bite size bits but something inside said not to take a breath...keep going. They are posted. Read if you dare. Yours, W.R. Golding

Core Beliefs - Chapter 59 - Gone Wrong
Core Beliefs – Chapter 59 - Gone wrong. On Tuesday, April 10th, Charlie and Charley landed in Kansas City. Joe and Cynthia had no trouble spotting the two. The foursome spent hours in the den talking about their time on the island. Joe and Cynthia often shook their heads in wonder at the paradise the young lovers

Core Beliefs - Chapter 56 - Seal the Deal
Core Beliefs – Chapter 56 - Seal the Deal. February 12th was a fun day. Matt’s family, Joe and Cynthia, Chris’s clan, Suchet with his family, and Charley and Charlie had flown to San Diego. Charlotte had contracted an older ocean-going yacht, 225 feet long, with a crew. The accommodations were 1960’s luxury and, importantly, an accessible storage hold. Nine crates and sixteen people loaded and settled in for a sea cruise. Shortly after sunset, the captain ordered the line

When you Listen
Last night I submitted a ten-page bit to our writing critique group. Got smacked. Not mean smacking, but the reality that I missed the mark on communicating my thoughts, story, characters from my mind to the page. I submitted the opening pages of Daniel book five. Because it is a series, a continuation of previous books, I tried to weave some backstory in the give a reader some context of events before, and aspects of relationships. What I discovered...I failed miserably, cre

I greatly appreciate all who are taking time to read the Blog posts and book chapters on my webpage. It's a comfort that you find them worth reading. Something I noticed just today is at the end of the blog posts, there's a place to leave comments. Anything you have to say, good, bad, or the color of the bananas at the store will be appreciated. Thank you for your consideration. Walter

Core Beliefs - Chapter 55 - New Recruits
Core Beliefs – Chapter 55 - New Recruits Monday, February 2nd, Matt flew to Washington, DC, for a meeting with Senator Saulman Coldwell. He took a cab to the Senate office building and, with some difficulty, located the senator’s office. The receptionist greeted him brightly and led him to the senator’s office. She said the senator was on his way back from a meeting, and it would only be a few minutes. Matt settled into a comfortable chair. He knew exactly what he wanted to
