What the Readers are Saying!

Daniel and the Lions, Book One of the Daniel Saga

Daniel and the Lions is a beautifully written first book in the series that reflects the age old truth in fairy tales, overcoming adversity, valuing differences, finding resilience, and triumphing over all. Walter Golding does a beautiful job of weaving words that capture your imagination and stimulate anticipation. I love the special relationship between Daniel and his mother. He is the focus of her life. It speaks to all mothers who have children with remarkable differences. A mother will put herself in a position of danger to pave the way and protect her child. She is the "mother lion" guarding her young. Daniel is forced to grow beyond his years as a "normal" boy would. His powers have the ability to change the world, and for that, he is forever bound to think beyond himself. What a challenge for a teenager! I look forward to the second book as his life unfolds.

I was simply captivated from the first page! This is a fantastic story that had me rooting for Daniel and his lion friends as well as crying for the poignant moments with his mother and new found friends. I love a story that moves me to the extreems. You can't miss with this story. My only negative comment would be that there HAS to be a sequel. Come on Mr. Golding!!

I can only echo what others have said. I was mesmerized from the moment I started until I finished reading it later that day--I could not put it down. The tension immediately draws you in and you care about the characters from the beginning. Your heart aches for this remarkable boy and you can empathize with his mother as she tries all in her considerable power to keep her only child safe. Truly remarkable. And, yes, there must be a sequel, Mr. Golding.

The Chaos Conspiracy, Book Two of the Daniel Saga

"I loved Daniel and the Lions, having read it twice while I waited impatiently for Daniel and the Chaos Conspiracy to be published. It has been well worth the wait! I had to read it from front to back without a break. Could not put it down! Watching Daniel mature and grow in his powers has been mesmerizing and now I find myself impatient for the next installment to work it's way through this gifted writer to the printed page so I can once again get caught up in Daniel's adventures. So,Walter, I hope you and Daniel won't make me wait too long!"

"Another page turner from Walter Golding. Be aware that there is physical and psychological violence in this book, but the story is gripping, and I was surprised that there was more than one scene that was touching enough to bring tears. Well done, Walter! I hope the next one isn't too long in coming!"

Carolyn H. Piepmieir

"Suspense, action, strong characters and lions that love and protect the young man in the book? Wonderful read. Kept me turning pages. Scenes that had me biting my nails ... so real I was there! Loved the relationship between Daniel and his mom. Loved his heart. Amazing book. What a trip!"

The Chaos Within, Book Three of the Daniel Saga

"This was another great read, and another book that I could hardly put down. I read almost all of it in one setting. I love this series! The author does a superb job of describing everything so that you really feel like you are a part of the action. I love the mystery involved with whatever is going on with the government officials and all the government agencies. Such a good book I truly can't wait for the next one."

"With an open mind you can be swallowed into the life of Daniel, Melinda and now Amber. A new excitement is around every page. Although much of the story is impossible in the real world, Walter brings it to reality. I'm looking forward to the next book. Keep writing Walter."
